Calling Them Out: Why BOTH parties have failed the unemployed

So I've been accused of placing blame for the failure of the unemployment extension solely on the Republican side of the aisle.   While the failure of HR 4213 IS their fault due to the filibuster, I do feel the need to set the record straight as I do hold democrats (and not just Ben Nelson of Nebraska) responsible for some of the mess. 

In fact, I've really only given praise here to ONE Senator - Sen Brown of Ohio who stood there trying to convince his fellow Senators that people are hurting in ways they can't understand.  (See yesterday's video roundup.) Although, I should be clear in that I have also been impressed by Sen. Stabenow of Michigan who's also as outraged about the failure of the unemployment extension.   But as a whole, I'm really not impressed with the democrats in the senate EITHER. 

Why a Hobo is Better than a Republican Senator

We're now three days after the every single republican senator (and one really useless democrat) voted down an extension of unemployment benefits yet AGAIN.

I've talked here before about how many of these same senators are slandering the unemployed, calling us stray animals, entitled, spoiled and hobos.  I've mentioned before that while all these ridiculous accusations are untrue. For laughs tonight, I decided to look up hobos.  

I found on Uncle Wikipedia that hobos actually had a pretty strict ethical code.  In fact, most of the hobo ethical code is at odds with most of the GOBPs code so I figured I'd do a little comparison
